It felt good to run along the canal again yesterday after more than two weeks of recovery from sickness and injury.
April in Phoenix brings Alleluia weather. I step outside and am comfortable in the shade, but if a slight breeze cools me too much, I step into the sun; then if the sun warms me too much, I move into the shade again. Alleluia weather.
Alleluia for the shade and for the sun, for the breeze, and for the stillness. Alleluia for April and baby green leaves, and sprouting plants, and blooming flowers, and feet, and legs, and an old body that learned that it’s not too late to run and ENJOY it! Alleluia for a friend to run with and laugh with and cry with and pray with! Alleluia for Life!
